Keep your Eyes peeled for Apples!
The core of the The Big Apple Project is a mass participation public art trail event brought to Hastings by Arts Inc Heretaunga, Studio Benega and the Hawke's Bay Arts Festival, supported by Hastings District Council.
Apples are well known to represents a source of health and are an important facet of Hawke’s Bay food production. So, in our desire to bring together artists, businesses and communities in the spirit of generosity and fun, we decided to celebrate in big style with the ‘Big Apple’ Project!
20 Local artists were commissioned to make their apple concept come to fruition. The stunning results can be enjoyed by following the trail.
