My quilts like all of us has been through lock down and remain in lock down at present. This one, 'Thread Play' was entered into the Wine Country Quilt show which had to be cancelled due to “Covid 19”. It along with hundreds of others will come out of lock down and be returned when it is safe to do so.
In this quilt I use Glide rayon thread to stitch my designs on the black cotton sateen. I wanted to make a quilt with the emphasis on high thread concentration for colour effect in some parts of the design. I used negative space (no stitching) for other parts of the design to create a contrast between the two.

It, along with hundreds of others, will come out of lock down and be returned when it is safe to do so. This virtual show is great as it enables me to still share my work along with other artists.
