Sharleen Gamble is a Hawkes Bay based sculptor, having recently completed the Te Hono Ki Toi (Poutiriau), Master of Professional Creative Practice.
She combines her sculpture practice with parenting her children.
Connection to Roy: I had the honour of meeting and conversing with Roy, while he was in the role of art critic and judge, as one of the artists he choose to award a highly commended certificate at the CANDID-50 Exhibition - held at Creative Arts Napier during 2020.
I found Roy to be a humble man with a keen sense of humour.
