'ADRIFT' - Annabel Morgan

Annabel Morgan is a contemporary artist based in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. In 2024, she finished her Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in painting at the Ilam School of Fine Arts at the University of Canterbury.

Since she was very young Annabel has had a large love and passion for the ocean, and through that love, she now creates art that reflects this passion, using many mediums - and for this exhibition 'ADRIFT', using oil paint.

Annabel says "My art explores the ocean’s shifting moods, from tranquil stillness to untamed power. Using rich oil textures, I capture the interplay of light, movement, and depth, evoking the vastness and emotion of the sea. Each piece reflects the ocean’s timeless rhythm and our deep connection to water."
