DAVID FINE SCHOLARSHIP - Exhibition

Hello, my name is Maia Harding, and I am the artist behind Fun Funky and Fabulous Ceramics!

I started my art journey at EIT Tairāwhiti Idea School in Gisborne, where I am originally from. I then moved to Hawke’s Bay to complete my Bachelor of Creative Practice Degree.

I am now in my final year and feel very grateful to have received the David Fine Scholarship, which has given me the opportunity to have my own exhibition this year and kickstart my career.

My exhibition will feature clown and circus-themed artworks. It will be a very bright, colourful, over-the-top show, sure to leave you bouncing off the walls with joy.

My ceramic pieces will fill the bottom floor of the gallery, while my fellow Level 7 students will display their work upstairs. Their work will feature a range of different art and design, all inspired by my circus theme.
