Beverly Trillo studied at ideaschool, E.I.T. graduating with a Bachelor of Visual Arts and Design degree.
For this current show, Beverly has adopted two techniques; monoprint and woodcut combined. The soft monoprint background with subtle leaf detail is enhanced by the solid but fluid lines of the woodcut overlay.
They both work together to balance the composition, soft focus and sharp detail combined. For more info, you can visit Beverly's Facebook page here.
“Birds are an important part of our landscape, often overlooked. They are an indicator species of our environment and sustainability. My aim is to highlight their beauty and importance in our lives”. They live between two worlds, living comfortably on land, and as spiritual messengers”.
