Jocelyn's three works in this exhibition are a suggestion of taking time to see and feel what is within our daily life and environment. Her passion is sculpting hardstone, exploring and enhancing the natural qualities of stone in form, polish, texture, light, and shadow. Creating tactile restful forms, celebrating the natural solidity and strength of stone.

Her works are an expression of optimism for change in society and influenced by the surrounding environment. Recent works are suggestive of taking time to appreciate the beauty and form of everyday objects. She prefers to sculpt in stone from her local environment.

Participating in more than 100 sculpting symposia internationally and within Aotearoa, Jocelyn's works are held in public and private collections.
