Ricks Terstappen, originally from the Netherlands, has called Hawke's Bay home since 1978. A prolific full-time artist, Ricks sees potential in found objects and scrap metal that others have discarded, giving new life to forgotten or disused items, bringing elements together to form a whole, both elevating and celebrating the materials.
