FOR THE LOVE OF OILS - Anne Healy

Anne Healy showed promise in art from a young age.  Self-taught, she now paints daily being retired and having the time to do so.

On and off over the years Anne has settled into drawing, then pastels, and is now back to using oils.  She likes to get to a stage in each medium where she feels satisfied with what she is accomplishing.

Anne enjoys a challenge and feels she is lucky to be able to capture landscapes, portraits, animals, seascapes, buildings, and some still life.

Generally working from photos Anne feels like painting for her is her "Me time" and she truly loves to see the joy it brings to others.
